1. Who We Are

AlphaIntel is an AI-powered financial analysis platform based in Switzerland. For any questions regarding your data, you can reach us at contact@alphaintel.ch.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use AlphaIntel:

• Account information: name and email address (provided via our authentication provider when you sign up).
• Analysis data: the stock tickers and parameters you submit for analysis.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns.
• Technical data: browser type, device type, and operating system. Your IP address reaches our hosting providers in order to deliver the page, as it does on any website, and our error monitoring is configured never to infer or store it.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the AlphaIntel platform and deliver analysis results.
• To communicate with you about your account or our services.
• To improve and develop our platform based on usage patterns.
• To comply with legal obligations under Swiss law.

4. AI Data Processing

When you run an analysis, your request is processed by our AI infrastructure, which relies on third-party large language model (LLM) providers. Requests are pseudonymised: they never contain your name, email address, or account identity. When the analysis is personalised, they do include the inputs that personalisation needs, such as your portfolio holdings and investor-profile parameters, alongside publicly available market data. Per our data processing agreements, your data is not used to train their AI models, and our AI providers operate under zero data retention (ZDR) agreements, meaning your analysis data is not stored on their servers after processing.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following categories of service providers to operate AlphaIntel:

• Authentication provider: manages user sign-up, login, and session management.
• Hosting providers: serve our website and backend infrastructure.
• AI processing providers: process pseudonymised analysis requests (market data plus, for personalised advice, portfolio and investor-profile inputs; never your name, email, or account identity). Operate under zero data retention agreements.
• Error monitoring: helps us identify and fix technical issues. It runs by default and collects the error, the page it happened on, and your browser type, never your IP address: our provider is instructed never to infer it. You can object at any time under Cookie preferences, at the bottom of every page.
• Analytics: privacy-focused usage analytics to understand page views, traffic sources, and performance. Off until you give your explicit consent.
• Session recording: a replay of your own session, used to reproduce a defect you ran into. Off until you give your explicit consent, and it stops the moment you withdraw it.

6. Where Your Data Is Processed

Your personal data (account information, usage data) is processed primarily in the European Economic Area. When you run an analysis, pseudonymised requests (market data plus, for personalised advice, portfolio and investor-profile inputs, without direct identifiers) may be processed outside Switzerland by our AI providers. These transfers are conducted on the basis of appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and applicable data privacy frameworks, consistent with FADP Art. 16.

7. Your Rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your personal data.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

8. Data Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel only. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. The date at the top of this page indicates the last revision.

10. Cookies and Analytics

We use three categories of cookies and similar technologies:

• Necessary (always active): required for authentication, user preferences, and core platform functionality. These cannot be disabled as the platform would not function without them.
• Error monitoring (active until you object): technical error reports that tell us the platform is broken before you have to report it. They carry no IP address and no account identity. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the service available, and you can object at any time without losing any feature.
• Analytics and session recording (opt-in): usage statistics, performance monitoring, and a replay of your own session. These stay off until you give explicit consent via our cookie banner, and stop as soon as you withdraw it.

You can review or change your choices at any time under Cookie preferences, at the bottom of every page. Refusing also stops error monitoring.
